The Pork Skin Study was conducted in 2012 by the Department of Animal Sciences, University of Illinois, Urbana 61801; and the Department of Animal Sciences, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN 47907.  The study was conducted to compare the digestibility of pork skin vs. traditional rawhide chews.
